Geologist who has been working in Oil and Gas Industry since 1986. Work in different areas of geophysics, such as seismic acquisition planning and data quality control, seismic data processing, reservoir interpretation/characterization modeling and exploratory interpretation.
As exploration interpreter I had the opportunity of participating and integrating teams working to wild cat well’s locations of differents basins, such as:

ESPIRITO SANTO OFFSHORE: Block ES-M-592 (Boca Maldita and São Lourenço prospects), Bloco ES-M-661 (Grana Padano prospect)

RECONCAVO: GPK1 and GPK4D (Agua Grande Fm and Sergi Fm).
Some of them resulting in commercial oil discoveries.
As a Reservoir characterization interpreter could also had the opportunity to integrate different reservoir characterization fields projects such as Vermelho (Eocen), Voador (Oligocen), Marlim (Oligocen), Pampo (Albian) and Bicudo (Albian).
His professional experience, aquired over years working integrating exploratory and reservoir characterization teams, was complemented with a master and doctor degree courses.
The master's degree thesis, in geophysics, consisted of "The Effects of Anisotropic structures on reflection coefficients in AVO Curve Studies” , and the doctor's degree, in Exploration and Reservoir Engineering, consisted of a dissertation entitled “Porosity and saturation properties joint inversion, from seismic and well data, using Bayesian Inference Technique, applied to Campos Basin field data”. In this work was developed a technique to obtain saturation changes from a 4D synthetic seismic data and proposed a new attribute called “porosity perturbation” by saturation changes.
